As an SEC school, if you could choose between a basketball national title PLUS a baseball World Series championship versus a football playoff championship in a single year, which would you choose?
Although I yearn for a CFB title at UK, I would take hoops plus baseball. What does the rest of the league say?

Football championship easily.

I would take 1 football championship over back to back basketball and baseball titles.

Football. I love baseball and basketball as true American sports. But, they are more finesse than gladiator
Football is the mam in the arena

I would take MBB NC and baseball NC in a NY minute.

I can name every football champion from the mid 1990s to today in order without looking it up. I cant tell you who won in baseball or basketball in 2019 without looking it up. This isn’t even a debate lol.

I would think 8&4 would take a bowling title if they could get it.

This question is easy to answer. I’m taking football all day and here is why.
Basketball and Baseball a team can be real shitty for most of the year but if they get hot at the right time then that team can make the tournament. If they stay hot and catch a break or two that team could go all the way. It doesn’t happen very often but it’s possible for that to happen.
Football is way different. A team can have one hell of a season and be good all year. That team can lose one game late in the year and the next thing you know that team misses out on being one of the 4 teams that makes the CFP. We have seen 1 loss conf champs miss out on being one of the 4. Winning a title in college football is way harder than in any other sport. So I would take just 1 football title over multiple basketball and baseball titles.

I don't think this is true. The chaos of the tourney makes MBB the hardest win an NC.

The obvious answer is football.. BUT.. i’m gonna pick baseball and basketball because..
1) That would make 7 WS in Baseball.. 1 more than LSU
2) That would mean we have 1 in all 3 big sports.. lacking basketball currently.. joining Florida as the only team to do that
3) We would then have a chance to hold all 3 crowns simultaneously with the next football season.. something never done before.. it wouldn’t be the same school year, but that would be badass

Football doesn't have the equivalent of the 3 point shot and free throws which gives smaller teams a shot in basketball.

In football you have to be 1 of 4 teams to make the playoff. In basketball you have 64 spots maybe a couple of more. A team in basketball can be very average and make the tournament still. In football you can win the conf championship and still get passed over because another team may have played a harder schedule. So I disagree.

Give me the hoops and baseball title. We’re tripping over football trophies down here. It would be nice to know what the others feel like.

No one cares about baseball

Football and only football. No opening day in college sports is like it. No other season is like it. The smells, the sounds, the action.
I watch a little basketball but don’t really get into it. Baseball is a non issue. I Watch more softball than baseball and that’s very little. I couldn’t tell u how Bama fared against auburn in baseball and don’t care. I can’t tell u Bamas coaches name..seriously.
I was just told it was Brian Bohannon. I remember now.
