Awful list. No one from LSU’s 2003 national championship team? Chad Lavalais? No one from Auburn’s 2004 team? Cadillac Williams?

Prescott at #50 and Tebow at #1 is obviously trolling State fans. Hell, Nicky Fitz should be ahead of several players on this list.

There are only a handful of players this century that have achieved "you know what is coming and you still can't stop it" status. They are:
Tim Tebow
Cam Newton
Darren McFadden
Derrick Henry
Joe Burrow
Devonta Smith
You can rank those players however you like against each other but everyone else is below them.

Cam could run, pass, and take on NFL linebackers.
Cam had over 200 yards rushing on LSU in 2010.

How did Sarah Fuller not make the list? :)

What could have been. Damn.

AT Alabama, Trent Richardson was better.
Julio Jones was not better than Devonta Smith.
Courtney Upshaw deserves to be on this list somewhere

Jarvis Jones that far above Roquan has me all confused. Maybe recency bias on my part.

AJ McCarron wasn't nearly as good as Mac Jones. Not even close.

Cam Newton is #1 and there’s really no debating it.
hard to argue but if you were, it was just one year.
I would love to know what the lowest nfl pick on the list is? most are pretty high
What was AJ? 6th round?

Honestly Burrow and Newton are 1/2. I'd be ok with Tebow at 3. List does a pretty god job, but some are headscratchers.
Is it career or just peak level of play? For one season Joe Burrow and Cam Newton are the two best players I have seen in my lifetime. Tebow had more longevity.

Interesting that Nick Fairley didn't make the cut. Love him or hate him, he was one of the most disruptive forces in the game.

Clowney at 5 is a joke. He is one of the most hyped players with the lowest actual production ever.

Julio was in a run first offense with JP Wilson and Greg McElroy throwing to him.
Smith had 2 top 15 picks throwing to him in a pass heavy offense and spent the better part of 2020 as option 1 & 2.

Johnny Manziel led the SEC in rushing yards in 2012. He was 2nd in passing yards. He should be higher than Eli and Tua.
Tua wasn’t even in the same category of playmaker as Johnny or Dak Prescott. Tua had a stacked OL, WR, RB and defense. Tua should be around 20ish.
Von Miller never played in the SEC.
If Michael Sam wasn’t gay he wouldn’t make the list. There are plenty of SEC defensive ends that have made All American before and since Michael Sam.

Landon Collins over Minkah is criminal.
Landon Collins isn't a top 5 Bama safety.
This list is arse.

Roquan should be WAY higher.
AJ Green, Nick Chubb, and Sony Michel should be on the list.
Jarvis Jones was WAY better than Clowney
Gurley should be higher
