He’s quietly had the best season of our backcourt players.

With extended minutes and more touches, I think his role will grow for the remaining games.

CBM had a disappointing game against Kentucky, but he’s going to see increased minutes as well especially while Jaylen is out.

Bruce is at Wallace State checking out a 5* 2026 dude.

Since he lives in Bama that will probably mean trouble for us.

Expect Bruce to be in the mix for OSU, Louisville jobs.

Matt Norlander asked him in an interview over the weekend if he would ever leave AU.. and he said it's the best place he's ever been and it would be extremely difficult to leave, but he wouldn't say never.

Not sure Bruce has more than 5 or 6 years left in him with coaching so doubt he would want to start over somewhere else unless the offer is ridiculous. Smart to leverage for another pay raise by keeping the door open.

I get the feeling Bruce is getting burned out and wants to dip his toes into politics.

I'd be surprised but I've seen more surprising moves.

Based on Bruce politics I don’t see him leaving AU. He is very conservative, that is not gonna go over well in Columbus OH or Louisville KY, hell most college towns for that matter. I would bet he keeps going for a few more seasons and retires to Lake Martin. I also, think Steven is probably our next coach in that scenario.

Plus any where else he would t have the leverage to go out the door and let Steven take over. I agree with others we might get 5 more years with Bruce

I dont think his politics matter if he wins games. Hell, Bama kept around Saban's democrat self.

I could see him going to KY over OSU. OSU isnt really a step up I dont think. KY certainly is a set up in terms of job, but there's way way more pressure. The money would have to be insane and I think Auburn makes an offer very competitive.

His politics aren't even out there to most of the country. He's jewish and 98% of the political takes he fires off are just supporting jewish causes.

I expected at least a Sweet16 run, and down to the last week competing for the SECC.
Still do.

Looks to me that that depends on which team shows up. The one that shoots the lights out or the one that can't buy a bucket.

Oh I hope he doesn’t get into politics. But for whatever reason, I get that feeling. Hopefully he just goes to work for ESPN or something when he retires.

I think Alabama has benefitted from a soft schedule with all their big games at home except UT and Us away they lost those by a combined 38. The two toughest at home AU and UF were nail bitters. Also refs really let Bama get away with some shite vs UF.

Florida is good. Really good. Maybe better suited than any other SEC team for a tourney run. Clayton and Pullin are as good as any guards in the league and their bigs do the little things so well

I think the 3 best teams come NCAAs will end up being UT, UK and UF. 1-5 they are all very solid. We don’t have the guards and Bama doesn’t have the front court.

I’m not crazy about UT’s front court. Aidoo is so inconsistent
