Anyone want to post and show their memorabilia collections? I was thinking I might try to get my old memorabilia out next time I’m back in my hometown and pick back up collecting again. I didn’t know if there was a post already but I figured we could have a place to show what we have. I’ll try to get some pics up maybe next weekend

'83 My "tear away" inspired by Bo

Paper over plastic

Calendar. Chuck faceposting Bobby Lee Hurt. I hope to get it signed and framed. It's in great shape. I found it rolled up in a cardboard tube when I was back home.

Xmas present, 1977. Will have to check which team signed it.

Dad's jacket, mid 70's

'85, AJHS. It was a thing. Lang's Sporting Goods at Glendean stayed busy.

I've got API ashtrays and lab stools and other odds and ends if I can find the pix. Look forward to seeing what everyone else has kept over the years. Lots of memories. Thanks for the thread.

Don’t know that I have a lot of memorabilia. Got a Bo signed mini helmet and my favorite, a Frank Thomas signed baseball. Got the ball signed by Frank at the 1990 Southern League all-star game when I worked for the Lookouts as an 18 year old. Frank saw my Auburn hat and I told him I was headed to AU in the fall and he signed my ball and spent about 10 minutes talking with me. Great man.

I got a bunch of baseballs signed that day by AA all stars, but only one hit 500 HR and is in the HOF. And he’s an Auburn Tiger!

Not AU, but also have a Harmon Killebrew signed ball. He came to the stadium to visit and spent some time with us.
I’ve got two 500 HR HOFer balls.
So, I’ve got that going for me.

Thanks. He passed in 1997, so it's extra special. We didn't always get along very well, but I guess that isn't rare. I miss him often.

He was a Botany Professor, and all the Botany / Micro and other faculty had and wore them. Still classic. Dad was a Lions Club member and guarded the south endzone TV tower. I sold programs to get into games for free and we'd meet and collect stadium cups and shakers after games. Good times.

PS / request - Auburn's Herbarium, one of the top herbariums in the Southeast is now named for Dad and his 30 years of service / lifework building up AU's collection. Any and all donations to keep it running as a valued research / resource for students, academics, government and other organizations is greatly appreciated. WE!

I hope to buy one of those championship rings for Auburn sometime. That would be sweet to have.

I had the newspaper - Montgomery Advisor I think - from the 1989 Iron Bowl from my junior year. I mounted it with the picture of Toomer's Corner turned white facing out. We were about to move so I removed it from the wall and had the paper carefully placed on the dinning room table.

It was late so I went to bed. In the morning I went to work and my MIL came over to help my wife pack. You know the rest.

I love her but still bring it up.

Most of it is stored away but I was a freshman for the 2013 season so I peaked very early in my college career. But I have all the shakers from those games including prayer at Jordan hare and kick 6. I really wish I would have been sitting closer down and could have snagged a pylon but they were way gone by the time I made it on the field.

I have no gameday memorabilia. I am not sentimental like that.

I have a bunch of expensive shirts like Peter Millar, Johnnie-O, Vineyard vines, and Southern Tide Auburn gear that either doesnt fit or barely fit....and many of them still have their tags if any wants to buy some cheaper gear send me an email address.

I don't have a ton, but I do have a few things; don't have pictures of them though.

-Coach Dye's autograph on the back of a ticket stub for an AU baseball game in one of the first years that "new" Plainsman Park was open.

-Official Sugar Bowl 2004 team photo framed with ticket stubs from that year's home games plus SEC Championship

-Ticket stubs from every home game in 2010 and 2013.

-Various baseball/football/basketball cards with Big Hurt, Barkley, and Bo (including the famous "Bo black and white" holding the baseball bat across his shoulder pads).

-At one time I had the Sports Illustrateds from the 2004 and 2010 seasons, but I'm not sure I kept those through getting married, moving a couple of times, and my mom selling the house I grew up in.

-I may still have some Tiger Rags game shirts from the mid 90s ('94 Florida, '95 Georgia and Bama, '97 SECCG, 2000 SECCG) stuck in a storage tote somewhere.

-Pretty sure this one is no longer around, but I saw someone wearing this Chalkline jacket at the 1990 Peach Bowl against Indiana. My cousin worked at J&M at the time and got me one. I pretty much wore it all through high school.

You would have to cut my boys throat and wrap it around his fingers before he would part with his. Not sure why anyone would ever sell one.

Never been a memorabilia collector. Kind of a minimalist I guess. Although I do regret not getting a football autographed by Cam Newton while I lived beside him for the 2010 season.
