CBM is going to be almost 26 when the next season rolls around, he aint going pro so I get why he wants to maximize NIL.
I dont hate him and wish him well, dont need to pay him.

I mean all of the final 4 teams were constructed over multiple years of NIL and the transfer portal. It can be done. You might just have a weird year where you have 10 seniors and essentially replace your entire roster

Or, you could have a mediocre season with a team with just four seniors, then end up having 7 non-seniors hit the portal, losing 11. That's what Mississippi State is dealing with. They had three juniors and four sophomores (last year's classes) enter the portal.

The xitter post clearly says Duke, Auburn & Illinois are all involved among others. I thought i saw somewhere else or maybe here that "Do Not Contact" just means not to contact the player directly but to contact the agent. i'd be very surprised if it happened though if recent history is any indicator.

not sure if it's been mentioned or if it's even true, but saw elsewhere that we may be in on RJ Luis from St. John's. Also, he's supposed to be officially visiting.

That would definitely take the sting out of not having CBM come back. Would be a great pickup, and lots of years left if we could keep him on board long term.
Would just need one more decent 2/3 type at that point as long as Tahaad comes back, and maybe a depth center.

Yeah, pretty average offensively, decent backup with upside but not someone we want starting in any capacity. Hopefully he makes a junior year jump forward for us offensively.

He’s more of a culture, veteran piece. Think of Chris Moore with some actual game. Probably a 6 ppg 22 mpg guy
