I’m not sure I’ve ever been as hopeless about an Auburn game since the 2012 season.
Absolute facts.

I have zero faith in Thorne or Freeze to win this game.

Looking at the numbers Auburn has a good offense if they don't throw picks, but we throw picks and fumble the ball when we shouldn't.

Still going to homer this one 28-21 AU

Top 20 in passing yards and passing tds. Conceptually our passing offense has been very successful. There's alot of moving parts in this game and it's not as binary as "it sucks/it doesn't suck". I'm sure we'll see more of the run game but I guarantee you Freeze still has confidence that we don't average 4 ints a game for the rest of the year and he's gonna continue to throw the ball. I think PT will get the start Saturday and he still has everything to prove ofc but he looked improved in the second half. Murray's breakdown showed him more decisive and quicker getting rid of the ball. I remember two plays where he threw the ball before the receivers made their break. 200 yards and 2 tuddys in one half. And cam left a chunk of yards and maybe even another touchdown on the field. I wouldn't hate giving PT one more chance. Realistically tho Oklahoma is probably gonna eat his flesh off his bones then take those bones and stab hank brown straight through the heart with them. OU 28 AU 21 in double overtime.

Nearly half of our passing yards came against Alabama A&M and the other three games resulted in 8 interceptions. We don't seem to gameplan against pressure very well. Both Cal and Arkansas effectively brought outside guys against our empty backfield formations and we had seemingly no escape routes to throw to or our QBs just lock up. Venables, I'm sure, noticed. Freeze likes to talk about simplifying things and shortening up plays, but I've yet to see it.

I'll be paying close attention to this. Good thing we run more than empty tho.

The ball was definitely coming out quicker against Arky. Even when PT took over.

I don't know about the score but predict that my blood pressure is going to spike, I am going to drink too much, and then throw up midway through the 4th quarter

Hurricane should be hitting Thursday, and be in Nashville Saturday, so likely we won't have rain still unless some tail end rain is left behind

Yeah, looked it up on the path predictions. It's going through on Thursday and will be in Tenn by Friday. Should be a nice sunny Saturday.

Fully fraught futility for faithful following football for
fellow friendly's find fifth foray's finish frustrating.

(From fumbles, frequent flags, forced field-goals.)

Foreign fighters - 24
Fellow friendly's - 23

Fully fuc'n frustrating.

Also it appears their Kicker got appendicitis, but Payton Thorne is QB1 again according to ESPN in the other thread.
