What excuse will AA use this off-season to not sign Marcel Ozuna to a multi year deal.

3rd division title in a row, now let’s win a series.

Anyone see what Acuna did in the dugout? It look like he was jacking off in front of Ozuna. Ozuna left and a Braves official pulled him down. Very weird if I'm right.

I'm still okay with letting Donaldson go and I don't think the price was the issue. I loved him last year but it would've been a gamble to give a 33 year old a 4 year deal like he wanted.

Maybe he would've kept playing at the same high level, maybe not. (His BA is down and he has only played in 26 games)

With that said I agree that not getting Ozuna would be inexcusable.

Bingo. I wasn't that upset about retaining Donaldson with his age and money request, but Ozuna being 29 brings so many tangible things to the Braves from a line up perspective. The problem here is Ender is under contract next year for 8 million, then 9 million in 2022, and we won't find any takers for him. I just don't see how you can't afford to bring Ozuna back either. Cole Hammels won't be back obviously, he would have been a full season of 18 million gone, Folty's 6.425 million comes off the books. Someone will offer the guy over 20 million for at least 3 years, no question.
