Reportedly Micah Hudson from Texas Tech asked for this.

First four points add up to a million a year. May be too much, maybe not. I have no clue who he is or what his value is but top NFL WR make in the 35 million/year range.

He can go frick himself on the last point. If you’re a pro you don’t get to decide your availability.

To me it's just silly that someone would agree to this. Maybe I'm getting old, but this is ridiculous.

Yeah thats the elite of the elite. Guys that can't be covered. There are some guys in the NFL who only make 225. Is this guy better than Justyn Ross who played at Clemson? He only makes a 300.

I'm glad these kids aren't going hungry, begging for meals outside Brough anymore.

No but unlike many players that are better than him, he has eligibility left. Just pointing out that the nfl values top WRs at about the same level as top QBs. Soon cfb will too.

The real question is what is the value of a head coach now. Especially a below average one like we have. A couple head coaches have already taken pay cuts for nil. Sam needs to do the same.

Who could have possibly seen this coming?

But you hated players if you were against it.

Supposedly smart people came up with this BS. Who would've thunk it.

Why won't you think of these poor children getting taken advantage of by their all expenses paid college degree? Allowing them to extort universities for lump sums of cash will definitely save them from being broke 5 years from now.

Once conferences started signing multi-billion dollar national TV deals and the coaches were making NFL money, the cat was out of the bag. The old NCAA model was not going to stand a chance in court and they started bringing in enough money that they made a juicy target for litigation.

The NCAA could have accepted their fate and implemented some sort of structure to the process. Instead, they just stood around and let the floodgates open.

He should've been the first. But he's not going to.

The medical time off determined by him and his family? Hell no. NSjr all over again. You get paid for playing. Anyone that agrees to these demands are stupid or insane.

Seems stupid. Should be agreed upon then make sure whatever his pay was is contingent on him playing. So his money divided by 12 and if he doesn’t play a game he misses check.
