Maybe I am just wrong but it seems like the only position group where DeBoer currently struggling a bit with is d-line. Both in numbers and quality.

It's weird, but not yet worried. You'd think retaining Roach would have kept a lot of these '24 relationships stable for DL.
Doesn't seem like they have much interest in the instate DL class outside of the current commit either.

A few post above someone mentioned us having a strong class outside of dline.
This west coast emphasis kind of ties in with that. Our staff still is very connected in the west(obviously) and getting some amazing players, but west coast schools are not known for churning out great d linemen.
That will come in time as the connections down here deepen. For this class we might have to start sending some of these linebackers to Huddle House

That’ll work too. D line is probably the position you’d most like to have upperclassmen from a physical development perspective

What I like about the addition of Edwards is that the defense is going to have to account for him as a receiver. He gets open and has great hands for a TE. With the wr group we’re bringing in, it’s going to be tough covering all of these guys. Especially when your TE is a threat to get behind the safety.
