With the recruiting class we're likely to sign, what are the chances we lose someone like Brian Robinson to transfer?

He doesn't appear to be happy with his playing time: LINK

Me too, I think he has a ton of potential. Assuming Jacobs heads to the NFL, a Najee/BRob combo, with some freshman talent sprinkled in would be a LOT of fun to watch.

Damien will be gone next season and Jacobs may leave too, IF he balls out the rest of the way and his stock jumps. But even if Jacobs stays, Robinson will get A LOT more carries next year and not just in 4th Qs. Transferring would be a bad decision. I doubt he'd seriously consider it.

You really think Jacobs may leave? I think he'd boost his stock by staying.

Where do mock drafts have him? If like to see him one more year with more carries. He would kill it!

I could see Sanders if he joins the class getting carries next year. BR may wait until after spring since Sanders is an EE and determine then based on what Jacobs does and how well Sanders does to make a decision.

I cant blame the kid for wanting more carries.
It's no doubt in my mind this kid is special.
He runs with good vision/power but seems to do it so effortlessly as he glides and slashes.
He hits the whole just as good as the backs in front and wont be taking down by arm tackles.
I think he will push 22 for the spot behind Jacobs even-though I think Harris was promised
to be the feature after Damian leaves when we recruited him.

I see Q Williams is 2nd in many drafts now behind Bosa and depending on how Bosa does with his medical Q could end up going 1. Jonah is top 5 with some as high as 3. I have also seen many with Thompson top 10. Davis stock seems to be falling and maybe I am off but I do not see how Mack is top 20.

Robinson is too good of a RB to end up behind Sanders in the pecking order next season, imo. Transferring and sitting out a year is the worst thing he could do. Like Najee, Sanders will likely play as a freshman. How much depends a lot on how well he learns to pick up blitzes and pass block. Assuming Jacobs stays, I expect Jacobs, Najee and Robinson to split the lion's share of meaningful snaps.

I have also seen Irv going in the 2nd but with Tua returning I think he should definitely stay as he could end up being a 1st pick in 2020.

Harris is looking like a 2nd round as well.

I do not see Jacobs leaving ans with him and Harris returning Robinson will at best be 3rd in the lineup in an offense that is no longer run heavy.

Sanders in my opinion may be better then Najee coming out of HS and Najee saw the field his FR year.

I also believe Davis should stay as he is going to slide to the 2nd round.

2nd is really good for a tight end. I'm not sure how he would benefit another year considering he would still be battling for catches among Jeudy, Ruggs, Smith, Waddle etc.

Nope. Saban only promises the opportunity to compete for and earn playing time.

How did you get that he would transfer or isn't happy about his playing time. He actually says "I'm Thankful"
Some of you really are paranoid.

Yes. And if he does I think he goes higher than Damien (who I also think is great). Jacobs is a Kareem Hunt/Kamara type at the next level, IMO.

Edit: Not worth the back and forth.

Yeah, I guess we'll see what happens.
