How are they able to afford to hire and fire so many coaches in a short time. You would think their money would be getting tight from paying these buyouts. Maybe some of yall can give me some insight?

You would think a successful business man would demand a better return on their money. I mean, what do these mega boosters get out of this? I understand being a huge fan... donating some money to the program to build a new weight room, whatever...but I just don't get continually throwing millions down the toilet to buyout contracts. That's obscene when you could actually make a positive impact on society with that kind of money. Jock sniffing seems to be very expensive... especially at allbarn.

Raymond Harbert is also one of the big money men at AU. His commercial real estate company is worth hundreds of billions. His name is on the recruiting room at Jordan Hare Stadium.

I hate to break it to you, but a school like Auburn has an absurd amount of money. Football is one of the most important things to the current students and alumni, not to mention it helps in drawing new students to the school. Auburn will always have as much money as it takes to ensure their football program is up there with the big dogs. We're actually really lucky that their administration has continuously made such terrible hires. Imagine if Auburn had hired Huepel...
