What Rees did with Milroe from Tennessee on last year was elite coaching.

I wasn’t always blown away with his calls at the time, but he somehow managed to get Milroe comfortable enough with his initial read and run looks that for half a season we were an elite offense for and Milroe looked like a budding star.

I didn’t understand what he had to work with as far as the issues with penalties on the OL and the limitations at QB.

From TN on we had the #2 FEI offense in the country and Milroe was the #2 QB in ESPN ratings second only to Jayden Daniels who won the Heisman and is apparently going to be a star in the NFL. Given results this year that’s flat out elite coaching.

Rees deserves another chance at an elite school to call plays.

Yep. The fact that we won the SEC championship last year with Milroe at quarterback is a miracle. Rees deserves kudos.

No Rees sucked. We won because we had a good defense and Isaiah Bond and Milroe wasn’t a spoiled millionaire yet who knew his legs were a weapon. Now he’s smelling himself and thinks he’s too cute to run.
