ESPN guys saying they had not seen a more impressive QB performance than Young since Deshaun Watson; and that he did not even have to show his running ability today.
High praise.

Young puts on passing clinic Friday night (BamaOnLine | includes video)
quote:

In his first game as an Alabama commit 247Sports five-star quarterback Bryce Young showcased his skillset in a 53-24 win over St. John's College on the road in Washington. D.C. On the evening, Young was 26 of 37 passing for 416 yards and five touchdowns. The Monarchs move to 5-0 on the season.

This marks the second game in a row Young has dismantled a defense chock-full of Division I talent. Two weekend ago, Young led Mater Dei to a big win over St. Frances Academy, scoring four touchdowns on the ground.

Ranked the No. 1 dual-threat QB in the nation, per 247Sports, Young has certainly showcased his ability through the air and on the ground thus far in 2019. On the season Young has passed for 1,688 yards and 19 touchdowns to just one interception.

247Sports' Greg Biggins broke down what Young will bring to the table at Alabama recently... (more)

Saint, was State staying at the Embassy? That's where Bama stays when then they play the Barn. The Barn stays right across the street at the Renaissance. I was downtown 2 years ago when the Bama Bus Caravan pulled in and they went in the Embassy Hotel.

I haven't seem much in the way of stats. He caught a 40 yard touchdown yesterday. He is on an Ohio power that is going for their fifth title in a row. They seem to be loaded with talent for what league they are in.

This game made MIKE FARRELL look like an idiot. Young was sharp on his throws and showed his accuracy off on national TV. Kid is a stud

Sounds like a great thing. I enjoyed my time with The Old Breed when I was with STA 2/5.

Nice, I was with a STA platoon under 1st SRIG and once they started to downsize(finally deactivated) I spent most of my time deployed between Panzer Kaserne and Soto Cano.

Thought of the day. I wonder how Daxton Hill feels about being a backup on this sorry arse Michigan team while Jordan battle starts in dime on the #2 team in the country

Strap ol Farrell into a chair and make him watch that game on loop. Young is the best QB in this class.

Eh... I’m still convinced his flip to us out of nowhere and his flip back on NSD was orchestrated by Harbaugh

Don’t care, we upgraded. Battle is a STUD

Copy of new edition of this thread's 1st post:

Composite Rankings: Player | Team | Talent
Commits | Top Targets | Offers | Decommits
Scheduled: Official Visits | Announcements
Roster | Depth Distribution | Transfer Portal

BOL Podcasts (free) provide lots of "nuggets" that are posted in print behind BOL's paywall.

Recruiting Calendar | Signing/Counter Limits
#s tracking: 2019 Class | 2018 Class | Roster

Note: 247's recruit pages have highlight videos. You can also easily access a player's hudl page via 247. Simply copy the player's name, open a new tab, paste his name and type hudl after it.

New edition tips: Check out all the links above, as well as 247/BOL's menus. They provide quick and easy access to LOTS of good info. All links on the top six lines go to 247/BOL, and the links on the next two lines go to several key posts in the sequence on this thread's first page. Info on recruiting class and roster scholarship numbers tracking vs signing/counter limits has also been enhanced a lot throughout the first-page posts.

Battle is a stud but I would have loved to see what Hill would've been like playing where Carter is playing in our defense. His parents have to feel like shite.
