Earlier this week, former Crimson Tide QB Greg McElroy said that he was tired of the "clowns" who accuse him of disliking Alabama now. On Thursday, he apologized for the harsh remarks...

“That’s how important it is, to be honest just had a tough time sleeping last night, just felt bad about it,” McElroy said. “Wasn’t the right thing to do. He had no business being dragged into my frustrations, and allowing my emotions to boil over yesterday was wrong. Absolutely 100% wrong.”

“He was a great player, and very grateful for his contributions to Alabama was similar to the contributions I made and every other player made to that university over the last 15, 20, 30, 50, 100 years. So very, very grateful to him and appreciate him.”
