We didnt like his "style" of costly fielding errors.
He is playing really well now. But he had a period of really bad play. In the field and at the plate. Much better lately....

These boys could have hung it up weeks ago.... they fought and are playing with a little confidence now.... they ain't gonna quit.

Dude is a badass for sure.
His bat was slow for a bit early in SEC season. But he has been more than solid in the field and his bat has come on.
Gonna be amazing to have him for 2 more years..... ...

I wouldn't say it warrants a melt at alll.... however....
I will say watching the first half of the season there were so many games that LSU had a bad inning, or a couple errors, and lost the game on that.
They'd be pretty good most of the game and throw it it away with one bad inning. This ga...
