the ridiculous drops they give players
The driving range should be OB. The grandstands should be OB. I bet no one else has ever dropped off the driving range or car park....
My game doesn't quite get going good until a few beers. It seems to relax me and lets my swing flow without much tension. Then it goes to shite after a sixer or more.
Sounds like you could have 2 a side and play great....
ETA: drinking is another one that I knew people would do but I have no desire to. But I also never drink except at like Mardi Gras or football games
I don’t mind people drinking, but IF you have to piss on every hole like a guy did at the last member guest, maybe go to shots instea...
Has anyone encountered this in real life?
I mostly walk so carrying extra stuff is not interesting to me. I hear it, but I guess I’m sort of used to it. Seems like the cool guys do it mostly. I don’t try to control what others do. I can’t hear very well so it does not really...

The 1980s was weird. Somehow 1992 worked its way into that decade. Florida and Auburn in 1985 had many pros on their rosters. Neither won a championship, but that game had talent on both sides of the football. Wilbur Marshall. Bo Jackson. Steve Wallace. And on and on. The 1988 Auburn tea...
We don’t need that a part of our program.
^this I’m sure there is a guy who can get buckets that lacks a criminal record....
Find a hobby if you don’t have one already. That or maybe do something else part time/get a side gig.
Golf: I play around 150 times a year working. I’m off one day a week already. Side gig: going to keep it going for now. It’s just one day a week and not too stressful....
I spend extra time at home and the course before the round stretching
This plus TENS for 30 minutes while stretching, ice for 15 minutes, then a hot shower. Put pain patch on. Then warmup and stretch at range. Swing orange whip. Maybe 20 balls....
I agree with your point. The more proficient you become as a ball striker, the more your potential rises as a golfer. Good ball strikers rarely hit OB or into penalty areas. Good ball strikers hit more greens. I’m not saying improving putting, chipping, and pitching won’t help, but that sh...
What did I miss?
We are debating taking a guy from the portal. He’s got some potential red flags in his past regarding treatment of a girl. I’m not a big portal guy. I’m not a big NIL hater or lover. I guess I just don’t want to hear the constant, “Auburn takes criminals, ...
But I've asked for no farewell event (been there 12 years).
This is so me. I don’t want a picture that everyone signs. Those are all in a box in my garage. A membership to Three Jack National, now that would bring tears to my eyes ...
With questions on the defensive line? And LB uncertainty? I could see the offense being better, but to have a big year you need to be stout and have depth at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the football. I’d be surprised if we won 10 games....
I think developing a good, true swing is essential to play your best golf. I am working on “slinging” the club more right now. A true swing is a feeling that just flows. I agree that putting and chipping practice can pay dividends, but learning to strike the ball consistently will lead to yo...
Yes. They won. We lost. It was not a good game. They beat us like a drum....

Make some travel plans: France Get a hobby: Golf Do some long overdue projects around the house if that's your thing: I guess I could clean out the garage Start your day with exercise, walk around neighborhood or hit the gym, stay active: will do Thanks for the replies. I guess it’s time ...

Do any retirees “miss” work?

Posted by makersmark1 on 5/10/24 at 1:11 pm
I’m retiring fairly soon. I keep hearing that people “miss” work, but I’m very burned out so I just can’t see “missing” work. I’m not close with any co-workers. I don’t socialize with anyone at work. I am polite to everyone, I just am not chummy. I don’t have enemies or friends per se. I just ...
I thought this was a “peptides” thread. Oh, well....
