That's sort of what I was guessing. I'm sure some things could be made to lower the cost,like simpler columns....

What would be a rough estimated cost to build a second story deck with brick columns?
The deck surface would be concrete or tile, something that is solid, so the area below would be sheltered from rain.
Square footage is around 900 sf.
