Alcoholic here as well. I have a soft spot for these folks. If you go through alcohol but specifically vodka withdrawls after years of abuse it’s devastating and very dangerous. They probably saved money...

It looks like terrible decision making by the young man (I believe in the right to carry). The problem is we don’t know if he had headphones prior to answering the door so he didn’t know who was banging etc. Carrying a weapon to the door though is a tough call.
