Hopefully Cags has a good outing today. Last year vs Tennessee he had the worst outing of his career as he walked 6 batters (including the first 4) and didn't get out of the first inning. Nobody else was any better as we walked 18 batters that day. :dope: ...

Also wanted to give a shoutout to Freshman pitcher Liam Peterson, who started last night's game for UF and gave up 1 hit, 0 runs and struck out 7 in 4 innings of work. His pitch count was limited as he was coming off an injury.
Great job vs a really good Tennessee lineup....

What this stat really shows is how bad we are starting games. We have given up more runs in the 1st inning than any other inning and it isn't close. It sucks to constantly be battling from behind. I just thought it was amazing that every single SEC win we had until last night ...
