Bammers miss Holman yet
He's pretty good no doubt but Benn Hess was the ace last season before losing him for the season. ...
DeBoer is a good coach, but there's absolutely no reason to have him ranked #2 in the nation.
Nah, he just has the highest winning percentage of any coach in the country. I know the SEC, blah blah but a good coach is a good coach. What people were waiting for was a hire like Ray ...

In baseball LSU is the standard like Bama football. It's becoming super apparent that NIL is evening the playing field in all sports. Bama doesn't have some huge collective in baseball so winning some of these series against the teams they have shows the potential but Alabama still has to get a lo...
Charley Pell started to build Florida football but it never really took off until th 90's. I don't think anybody thought Spurrier would do what he did but the rise of Florida, Florida St and Miami coincided with the great Florida migration In 1950 Florida had 2.7 million residents. In 1990 Flori...

You gotta remember that in 1990 when the divisions were put together, Florida was hovering just above .500 all time and coming off a 6-6 record i 1989. . the thought of Florida winning a national title was about like Ole Miss winning one. Auburn was a much stronger program. and the two had played ...
Here's how it works in the SEC regarding Bama. If you lose to them, it's because the Refs cheated and the announcers were for Bama. If you win, it was a fairly called game (especially when Bama gets 17 penalties)and you liked the announcers. So, the answer to your question depends on whether yo...
No, everybody else started investing in theirs. Once upon a time only LSU and MSU had good baseball teams....
What did he say that wasn't correct? He's was talking about....well, what you're doing right now. If you guys could get past your Saban hatred you'd realize he's pretty damn spot on but that would be too mature for the avg age group here....
OU and Texas will easily make it before any others that haven't won it. Outside of those two I'm not sure what realistic chance South Carolina and Mizzou have and Arkie would be a long shot. Vandy has no chance in any year ever. that is one that will never happen. ...
No one is scared of Alabama. Loss to Michigan No Saban Poached roster Absolutely no one!
And you'll be the first one to say when DeBoer is winning that "oh, he's winning with Sabans great players"...
Bama circles back around to Lanning. There will also be coaches this year and next that will make their mark and start getting attention. None of those names you mentioned would even get a phone call and I will add Lane Kiffin to that list, who would take the job today. Don't kid yourself....
THat looks pretty accurate. There shouldn't be any moving of teams to avoid a rematch. Play the games and there will be upsets that you just won't be able to see coming that will inevitably set up rematches. Some teams may play each other 3 times in a season....
Ou-Okie lite was never a rivalry and bedlam was never in the same universe as OU-Nebraska.
It was huge to Okie st but you are correct. To OU, Nebraska was THE game....
Now do the teams that finished unbeaten in the sec including the seccg. ...
I think Nick Saban earned the right to retire whenever the frick he good and felt like it
Bingo. Besides, he even said that 5 minutes before he was to meet with the team he had changed his mind. He had earned the right to go absolutely whenever he felt like it....
Solid post. Very interesting stuff. Saw where Lehigh and Lafayette will play for the 159th time this season....
Bama. These are some regular season games. 2013 iron bowl. Bama blows out FSU if they get past Auburn. 1977 Bama loses to Nebraska in Lincoln. Still should have won the title but with 0 losses and a 38-6 dismantling of Ohio st in the sugar there couldn’t have been an argument. ...
