Good run. Didn't watch a second of it last night due to late tip.
Still think we should part ways with White if we don't get to big tourney next year. Pre-NIL we don't get an invite to the NIT this year. Impressive that we made a run, but we continue to fall behind the rest of the league.

Deloach, Hill, And Montcrieff to portal

Deloach and MAM never gave us much so wahtever.
Hill I would have really like to have as a depth piece but I won't lose sleep over it. He absolutely won us some games and was a big part of our success this year but man he was also frustrating with late game turnovers.
Demery is by biggest #1 piece I want to keep, followed by Blue and JAmes. If we keep all 3 of those guys plus Asa and some portal guys we're in good shape.
One thing that I REALLY want to see is a true difference maker at center. I konw the last decade or so it seems liek the C has fallen out of popularity since all anyone does is shoot 3s anymore but look at the teams that made solid runs int eh tourney and just about all of them have a moster in the middle. Russ was honestly as close to taht kind of player as we've had in a while but he was obviously not the caliber of some of the other guys that were playing into April

I noted the same thing last night with the Centers. Both were pretty dang athletic too.

Early portal news. We seem to be finalists for both Dakota Leffew & Deshayne Montgomery out of Mt St Mary’s
Both of them killed us when we played early this year, combining for 49 points on 59% shooting
Season:
Leffew: 17/4/4 & 43/36/77 shooting
Montgomery: 13/4/2 & 54/40/73 shooting

hell yeah I'm loving this news.
Melendez is kind of head scratching. I would absolutely love to have him back as he was the ultimate glue guy for us last year. He started to improve his shot over the course fo the year and was always high energy, good rebounding, etc. For whatever reason CMW basically benched him the last month of the season and he got practically zero minutes so I just assumed he was already out the door. Kind of surprised he wasn't the first one to put his name in the portal.
