I’ve only seen people hoping for it, no actual reporting that there’s mutual interest. If there is it should come out here in the next few days with Oregon eliminated from the CFP

Seen him mentioned in the wish list click bait articles but I haven't seen anything officially, been pretty quiet on the official side of things which leads me to think the candidates are still playing for something. He's way up on my personal list between the style he runs and his Texas ties.

Robinson gone. Was hoping Elko could keep him. Not good.

I guess Elko wouldn’t name him DC

Disappointing because of his recruiting abilities over anything else, it's Eklo's call though. Maybe he felt the need to clean house given some of the issues we've heard about since Jimbo has been gone.

I’ve read that the new Cuse HC and E-Rob are lifelong friends.

It wasn’t Elko’s decision, he still wanted him on staff. Elko offered to make him one of the highest paid position coaches out there. But it sounds like E Rob wanted to call plays and step up to coordinator which we weren’t gonna let him do.

Elko made the decision not to offer the DC position, not sure anyone would have thought Rob would be staying for anything less. Pretty widely know he was going to get a promotion somewhere. I wish him luck and I'm thrilled he's not staying in the SEC.

The thing I keep thinking about is Elko truly runs his program as a head coach. He didn't call the defense at Duke. So he needs someone to be a trusted in game DC. Do we really want ERob learning that under fire?
Also allocating ~20% of the asst/staff budget to a position coach could hamper other areas.

Really wish him well...very glad he is not in the region or the conference

I honestly thought he had called the defense at Duke. Once I learned he didn't (which I like) it was obvious ERob wasn't gonna be the DC here. We will lose some quality DL over this but we didn't have much control over it aside from offering him the DC spot, which doesn't seem like a great idea.

About as good as could be done. Wish ERob wouldve stayed but Spencer will be good.

Think he is a good fit. Modern offense. Had a good offense with less talent. Runs the ball effectively.

F+ has the KSU offense ranked 9th. Last year they were 20th.

Yes, please.

I’d be angry if we didn’t. Absolutely lit it up this year.
