We went to MLB - young pitching coach for the Mariners. I really, really like this hire

Max Weiner

Official Release with statements.

Love the youth and energy of this staff with both Weiner and Earley

Huge to get both on campus. Sorrell was a top 2 or 3 round guy in a lot of mock drafts and rankings

Seattle has done a tremendous job drafting and developing young pitching the last few years. Miller is a perfect example, one of several for them. This feels like a great hire

Oh shite

Texas A&M signee Weston Moss tells me that he declined a fourth-round offer in the MLB Draft and plans to play in college. Fantastic news for the Aggies. The Montgomery County (Texas) Lake Creek product is the No. 55 RHP and No. 182 overall player in his class, per Perfect Game.

Be on the lookout for some more coaching restructuring news regarding Texas A&M baseball here pretty soon. I think it will be well received by the #12thMan

Not mad at it but not super exciting.

I am pumped how well things have worked out with the draft. I feel bad for Moss tho. I wonder if the door is open for his return.

He can still return to college if he hasn’t signed correct?

Yes. I’m not sure Moss has much to gain by returning to be honest as far as draft stock. All depends on what signing bonus is on the table vs what he could get in NIL I guess

He could definitely improve his draft stock with another year if he comes back and has a great season
