I've been to Ole Miss, Miss. State, Alabama, Auburn, Vanderbilt, Arkansas and Florida.

In order of nicest I put:

Ole Miss
Arkansas
Auburn
Alabama
Florida
Vanderbilt
Miss. State

It is a decent campus but no where near the three above. Bama, AU, and LSU have 3 of the nicest campuses in the conference.

I've always thought States campus was as pretty as UA or AU, if not prettier.

State used to be kind of a dump. It is not anymore. It has changed. The conventional wisdom on State needs to change, too.

the problem is people only see the stretch of S'ville that is on HWY 12 but never go around downtown or other areas

You guys realize that taste is subjective, right?

College campuses have some of the most beautiful architecture left in America. I think that's one of the reasons I love going to other campuses.

Arguing over whose is prettier is never going to end in any kind of consensus, though.

The main exit people take to get to Razorback stadium is without a doubt the ugliest 1/4 mile of road in Fayetteville.

Arkansas has some modern architecture, but I don't find any of it particularly offensive. I don't care for Brutalist architecture, but it can be done in interesting ways. I still think most of the modern stuff at Arkansas is pretty tame and restrained. The best feature of the Arkansas campus is the views. There are parts of campus where you are standing on the edge of bluffs and the views are beautiful. In the spring and summer its as green as can be.

You get up in a dorm, and you have views like this all around. This is what I remember about living on campus at Arkansas, was how beautiful the views from the dorms were:

I think that was taken by a student living in Reid Hall.
