He's hired a great staff. If they can snag a couple of the transfers they are in the final groups for he could have a good roster for year 1.

Alvin Brooks III is one of the best assistants (especially recruiting) in the business.

I always told Georgia fans I loved Mark Fox's Xs and Os. He knows how to gameplan. His problem at Georgia was recruiting. Think of him like Tubbys last years here. I liked the hire when Georgia got him, just expressed my reservations about whether he could recruit or not coming to the South from the west coast. He couldn't, but fortunately he's on our staff to gameplan and manage, not recruit. He's the kind of guy Calipari badly needed...like Welch for example.
