So that photo must've been taken in 08, as home games in the 07 season were played in Dell Diamond while Disch Falk was being renovated and 09 was the first year they had their current type turf (which was reinstalled in 2016).

For the record, I'm not a fan of turf, nor is a large portion of the fanbase. But I guess I get it for maintenance purposes.

Supposedly, both football and baseball fields will be moving to natural surfaces in the coming years.

Thank god for football. It's been an eyesore most of the seasons since turf was installed in 2009

I thought I liked the turf when we had it for a while but when they switched back to grass for football I felt like an idiot. Grass looks and plays so much better. Plus it’s not 1000 degrees radiating off rubber cooking everyone close to the field

South Carolina plays a team that lsu absolutely crushed at the beginning of the year. I think we had like 35 runs in two games against them . Over 20 in one. They should be fine today

That team was central Connecticut state

Ball St. looks scrappy. Butts start to pucker if you don’t jump on a 4 early.

If Kentucky loses, they should make the team stay in dorms as punishment

Poor Army. No run rule either to stop the suffering.

Army did great last year in their regional. Nearly took down the 1-seed.
