The one's damaging their own property because of a football game likely have absolutely no means to replace said property.

Although #5 is probably pretty accurate

Is this what happened when you lost to Indiana?

Sorry, I know you're sick of hearing about that but you can't get away from it. That's almost as bad a loss as getting beat 34-0 by UGA. 34-to-friking-nothing!!! Holy crap. And by a 3 loss team. You guys really think you have a chance?

You need to work on your economic theory. That would be a closed system, so the economic boon wouldn't actually translate into wealth.

Let's go through this scenario with just a few examples of why my previous statement has merit.

(1) Carpet cleaners totally inundated for weeks cleaning carpets and furniture from the Gumps watching the big screen and losing their bowels after the Bama loss.

(2) Retail sales of TV's, home theater equipment, chairs, miscellaneous household goods destroyed in fits of rage and disbelief.

(3) General contractors repairing drywall damage, plumbing fixtures, doors, windows, etc.

(4) Auto body repair from drunken gumps loose on the road smashing into shite left and right.

(5) Liquor/beer sales hitting record levels across the state in an attempt to drown the pain.

(6) Funeral Homes. No explanation is needed.

Actually, pretty funny, if one has any sense of humor. Certainly some measurable economic opportunities.

And no....Mizzou fans do not and would not react the same as the highly visible Bama fans to any loss, no matter how shocking. It appears the average Bama fan, thinks there is no way Bama could lose the game. Average Mizzou fans know our team could pull off an upset or lay an egg.

Nah, it's a troll and it's not supposed to hook economists with PHD's. Yeah and only the gubbmint can create wealth with Keynesian economics.
