Out of the list sevearl miles long of awful, shitty, or downright retarded things to come from expansion and everythign else happeing in CFB lately....this might be the ONLY thing that is actually good and deserves applause.
Kinda crazy lookign back that we had to wait 6 or 13 days prior to kickoff to know the game time.

I get why the 2 week window was there for TV ratings as the season went along.
I just assume Mizzou is playing on SECN noon or night for games outside of @A&M, @Bama, and vs oU. But glad to know ahead of time.

If you go to the game I suggest going to the Old Fashioned and get a wisconsin old fashion. It's made with brandy instead of whiskey. Their cheese curds are top notch as well.
Best steak in town is at Tornado Steakhouse and State Street Brats is a perfect biergarden to hang out at. The campus has a cool waterfront area to tailgate at as well, but may only be available for alums that day.
11am will be incredible weather there. August/September is peak time for Madison. Have fun!
If you're looking for a place other than a hotel to stay at I suggest The Mendota Lake House
Very cool bed and breakfast on the lake and not too bad of a walk to downtown area
WARNING: Madison is very LGBTQLMNOP and BLM. Missouri fans will want to schedule a home and home soon

Take time to walk the capitol. It’s fully open and if you arrive on Thursday you should be able to get to the roof top during working hours. It’s nice to order food around the area and eat in front of it.
