Make some travel plans: France
Get a hobby: Golf
Do some long overdue projects around the house if that's your thing: I guess I could clean out the garage

Start your day with exercise, walk around neighborhood or hit the gym, stay active: will do

Thanks for the replies.

I guess it’s time to shift my focus.
I will be “choosing what I do” instead of “having what I do chosen for me.”

I’m looking forward to retirement.
I’m keeping a small side job that I like so about a day a week I’ll deal with that.

I don't think I'll miss work much either when the time comes. I'll have to find things to keep me busy though.

They miss having something to do. If you have hobbies, a garden, a farm, cows, etc., you probably won’t miss it. If all you have is a couch and tv, you will miss it and you will go down quick.

That's my plan. I started paying taxes at age 13 and worked hard in a stressful job for the last 34 years. 11 more months!!!!

Got hobbies, love to travel and should have enough money to do what I want for 20+ years.

Amen to that!

I was going to suggest a side hustle, even if it's a breakeven adventure. You never know where interactions with others beyond coworkers and family may lead you.
