Sounds guilty as shite of something and only drawing more attention to whatever it is with that preemptive strike.

It's funny that everyone always says "if I were accused of something I didn't do I would shout my innocence from the roof tops". Mulkey gets word from former coaches and players, as well as a list of questions sent directly from the author, indicating that it's a hit piece. She figuratively screams from the roof tops that if they write anything untrue she will sue them for defamation, and somehow that is an indication of guilt?

That's the point. It's an antithetical response to the norm. It's an information narrative age. Looks like an attempt to try and control it, which seems to indicate it's not great news.

We'll have to wait and see.

All that said the only thing more slimy than the coaching world are reporters. It's bad on bad.

If she were responding to an actual accusation this would make sense but if she's doing a blanket "anything you say will be false and I'll sue you" it's a bit different.
