He was the only man I ever saw that could stand flat-footed and jump over a Volkswagen,” says Henley, who had 11 touchdown catches in 1972.

What an athlete. Superman. RIP

How great was #Auburn HOFer Terry Beasley? He is still tied for 6th in SEC w/ 29 career receiving TDs…in 30 games. Those ahead of him played in 49, 39, 40, 46 & 38 games respectively. Those tied w/ him played in 32 (Ike) & 36. Nevermind the rule changes. #RIPBeas

I'm amazed he was able to make it as long as he has. He has been battling a lot of issues in recent years. Great Auburn man and great person. He will be missed by many.

Man that's incredibly sad. Prayers for his family. I can only imagine what they've gone through with his struggles over the years.

My dad and uncle were pretty good friends with Terry Henley from high school, so I've been around him a few times. His stories about Beasley were always great. All those guys were before my time, but hearing my dad and his peers talk about those guys made them just larger than life stars for me as a youngster. Sad that so many legends from that generation are gone now.

Looked up CTE and it is a very ugly condition that only gets worse. Rest in peace Terry Beasley. You gave Auburn and football your all.

I remember hearing about how bad a shape he was in, back when Pat Sullivan was having his health issues. And that was years and years ago.

Terrible news.

Be at peace and WDE
