Sophomore from Alabama. He’s the youngest to win a PGA event since 1910. It’s a sign from Coach Bryant that we will
Win the natty this year.

Alabama…….where legends are made!

It’s hard to find a sport Alabama is not good at.

He’s the only kid ranked in the top 150. Only chance they have is if he stays to win the individual

Well that is a straight up lie.

I know Spieth was 19 when he won on tour for the first time. Tiger probably up there too.

He's the youngest amateur to win on the PGA since 1910, not youngest player overall to win.

And because he's an amateur, he doesn't get the prize money or the FedEx points.

When he won the US Jr Amatuer I asked him if he was getting a lot more calls from other schools, and more importantly was he still committed to Bama? He said his phone was ringing constantly but "I'm absolutely keeping my commitment to Bama".

But he can turn pro tomorrow and get his tour card plus a 2 year exemption. He would lose his spot in the Open Championship, but has time to qualify other than being the reigning US Am Champion
