Oh I definitely understand and agree with going to Gaeckle (I’d argue he’s our second best pitcher on this entire staff). I’m saying I wish we didn’t have to because I wish we’d give Hagen more run support in his starts and let him exit the game with a 5 or 6 run lead and have enough breathing room to be able to go to someone like Foutch or Coil.

Gaeckle is our first arm in a big situation. Mac is awesome but Gaeckle is the real deal. Big talent.

At some point we are going to have to test Gaeckle going multiple times during a weekend. That's what a closer does.
