The pelphrey analogy is actually really good. Pel also had some success early on. The coaching searches were both complete shite shows. Both coaches clearly in over their head.

He’s been paid millions to win sports games and he’s not doing if. I’d wager your job is probably more important and you’d not be given a leash like this unless you’re a Tyson kid… personal attacks are going to happen when you say the kind of dumb shite he does during pressers bc it’s crazy fans who take it very personal that he’s getting paid what they don’t and he’s admitting to not even knowing what he’s doing or trying. He’s here to cash checks and will be until we stop giving them to him. We SHOULD be using this time to conduct a legit coaching search for once, but our AD isn’t capable of doing that. Folks just don’t want to admit the loser mentality and culture of Arkansas football. It’s dangerous because that can permeate to other sports that were good at and we’re losing money. Not making bowls when you have the personnel to do it(even if it’s a lower tier bowl is a big deal). There’s not a reason to defend him for anything. He’s reaping the seeds he sewed when he jumped in bed with Jimmy Sexton. And no, he didn’t deserve what he got then.
