92,003 fans yesterday.

The biggest previous crowd was 91,585 for Nebraska's football victory over Miami in September 2014.

I didn't realize there were 92K fans of any women's sport on the planet, let alone volleyball in Nebraska.

Since it was played outdoors, should have at least made them wear beach volleyball "uniforms".

Clothing optional event would probably draw 100K+

I believe I heard them say it was the biggest crowd for any women’s event ever.

Are they playing nekid? Because I can't think of many other reasons to watch women's college volleyball.

I think Duke @ UK in Rupp (women) held the record for years

The NoseBowl, Kentucky @ Michigan State (men) held the record and was the game that changed the NCAA policy of playing Final Four's in football stadiums

The Nebraska volleyball game was the inspiration for the thread I posted earlier about the End Times. Never in my lifetime did it occur that Nebraska volleyball would outdraw Nebraska football.

Good for the Nubs coming to terms with the fact that the 90's are over for good and finding an alternative to football.

But why did 92,00 go to a volleyball game.

That is the question.

Nebraska's following is pretty impressive

I take it you have never been to a bowling Natty when the last 2 teams are Vanderbilt and Nebraska?

Big Red is Corn Fed by the looks of the team and their fans.

So some fraternity boys played a game, have you ever been to Little 500? Now that is a greek tradition worthy of infamy! let me know when they make a movie about your tradition.

12/13/03 UK travels to Detroit to play basketball against Sparty @ Ford Field in a game that still hold the record attendance for a college basketball game. What is more impressive is the game was non conference regular season game. Dook vs UNC can kiss my butt, thank you very much.

92,000 went to the volleyball game because it was held in the football stadium as a marketing gimmick.

As a Nebraska graduate, this doesn't surprise me.

And before someone calls me out about being a Hogs fan, I was born and raised here and I received my undergrad at UAFS.

I don't hate the Cornhuskers but I dislike them.
