Teams usually follow up big games with a less than ideal offensive performance. I'd be very nervous.

I was nervous when LSU hit the home run yesterday in the 9th inning to make it 24-4.

All you have to do is mention the possibility of Skenes pitching and these bitches tremble in their boots.

"I can't believe Johnson would ruin that kids life by pitching him.... waaaahhhhhhhhhh"

The statistical sample from which we can compare teams performance after scoring 24 runs in a CWS final game is 0

I am nervous because LSU is a good team. LSU fans should feel the same way because UF is a good team. It's a message board, so fans of both teams will act very confident, but any reasonable fan of either knows this one could go either way.

I remember when we beat NC State like 21-2 in game 1 of the Super in 2021 and we all thought we’d cruise in game 2 because they sucked. Turned out we couldn’t buy a run the next two games and they went to Omaha instead.

Florida can’t expect to replicate last nights game at the plate, but LSU can’t just expect Skenes to dominate. Will he have the same life on the fastball?

Skenes is awesome, but it’s a tall order to expect dominance again after so many pitches on Thursday and the shorter rest window.

You think they'll be tired from trotting around all those bases?

Naw. We did this already in the regional.

Dropped the first and cruised in the next two.

Not saying that this is automatic.

Baseball is a cruel game.

Very different if that was a Game 1 performance imo.

Both teams will have the mindset of 1 game for the national championship. I guarantee yesterday was easily flushed for both teams.

a 50% drop off in offensive performance will be plenty
