Underwood and many other top prospects are on LSU's campus this weekend for the annual Junior Day recruiting event.

The 6-4, 215-pound passer from Belleville, Mich., is the nation's No. 1 overall player for the class of 2025.

He committed to LSU back in early January, choosing the Tigers over Alabama, Colorado, Florida State, Michigan, Oregon, and Penn State.

Damn I’m glad this kid don‘t read TD because some of y’all posts are dumb af and he probably would de-commit immediately. If any of you whining asses don’t like that the #1 QB prospect and #1 overall prospect is committed to LSU #GFYS!!!!!

An elite qb eyeing a heisman sees LSU as a good fit. Remember when this was an absolutely absurd notion? Wild.

We were so desperate that Danny Etling was seen as a savior.

The vast majority of commitments stick. Underwood seems like a conscientious and intelligent kid. LSU seems committed to keeping him. No reason to think he won't be an LSU Tiger.
