College football is ruined

Its just so weird looking at Auburn's schedule and not seeing LSU, Ole Miss, Mississippi State. The transfer portal and expansion have made the sport unrecognizable. USC is going to be playing Minnesota? Texas @ South carolina? The recruiting wars mean nothing today . It used to matter if a 4* lb picked ur team on signing day. Now he'll be in the portal in 7 months and you can get another shot at him. The 12 team playoff is the only good change ive seen. It gives the champion more credibility. And a chance for more teams to be involved. I wouldnt be surprised if in 10-15 years the ncaa is gone and cfb has a commissioner and a salary cap.

Well, nobody really cares about Auburn. We are going to have a great year.

Where do you see Texas @ South Carolina? Sounds like you are looking for something to cry about

You're not wrong. We have 2 choices. Embrace it or find other interests in the fall.
I do miss the old system and nyd bowls but it won't stop me from watching.

Change can be good or bad. Before SEC expansion in 92, LSU hardly ever played Auburn. LSU and Auburn didn’t play from 1942 to 1969. Almost immediately after the divisions were formed, it became must see football with the 94 Interception Game, 95 Bring Back the Magic, and 96 Barnburner. It became even more dramatic in the 2000s as we all know. We would never have had that without expansion.

Plus, competition has gotten a lot tougher for some SEC teams and others it has gotten a lot easier due to being able to get good players. The game is much more fun when most are evenly matched, and they should be more fun than seeing lopsided games.

Alabama's schedule didn't really change much. Just added Arkansas to the schedule.
The bigger thing to me is having teams like Oklahoma and Texas in the SEC. It's just not right. Nothing against them personally, but they are Big12 teams and that's the way it should have stayed. Too many damn teams and it makes no sense.
15-25 years ago was the sweet spot.

South Carolina doesn't play Georgia, Florida, or Tennessee. Yet we play Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas A&M. Makes absolutely no sense.

Oh Stfu. I'm sick all you effin crybabies saying CFB is dead.
Just stfu and watch golf or something. I remember old timers in the late 90s telling me it was dead because it's changed so much.
For crying out loud. It's not dead at all and the playoff system will bring new excitement to the sport from casual fan's perspectives. It's just evolving like everything else. Deal with it losers.
Vols are about to run this fricking thing.

Evidence of a “cry baby”.
Can’t even answer a simple question. Why are you so scared to do so?

So Texas will be in the SEC and never play South Carolina?

I answered you directly in the other thread DJS. Answered you yesterday. Go check your history and pull it up. The wifi in your trailer park must really be lacking.

Greg Sankey is a spineless sack of shite and if he or any of his underlings think they can ever take away DSOR there will be a large number or people who will commit acts that could be described as domestic terrorism.
