If you throw fastballs, you can probably get by. It’s when you throw balls with movement that mess your arm up. Nolan Ryan threw with power and that’s why he was as durable as he was. ...

He was only at LSU, but damn what a memorable year that was. LSU won’t see one like that for a long time, if ever. We were fortunate to have him. When he came to LSU, I figured he would be pretty good, but not elite. ...

I’m almost hoping for 2 7 inning game doubleheader Saturday. Holman goes the distance in game 1. Dutton starts, throws 1 or 2 innings. Herring comes in and throws as long as he can go. ...
