Yeah for sure. We could go small ball some and put him at the 3 and CBM at the 4, with any of the bigs in at C. Tahaad would be a tough guard with that lineup running the P&R....

I can come to grips with Broome getting a decent amount of time at the 4, but I feel like that means we are gonna have to get creative with lineups and go with a G/W heavy lineup every now and then. I am just not confident in Cardwell being able to play heavy minutes without fouling out....
It feels like Bruce is trying to make a stand on NIL funds, our first offer is our only offer.
Not sure how much of it is Bruce making a stand and us being on a tight budget and not being able to even make a counter offer. Also feels like the Broome offer/pitch has put us in a bind. ...

Hoke just out out a basketball update. Here are the bullet points. - Mitchell and Hudson are both weighing options and could still take visits, but Hoke would not be surprised to see either commit. - Sounds like chances of Dior to Auburn happening are dwindling. From his wording it sounds like...

Good news is Butch is once again showing he can have his team playing their best ball at the end of the year. Bad news is the first 85% of the season was abysmal....

Saw that. Hopefully just doing due diligence in case they miss on Mitchell. We’d definitely be settling for Hudson and would be seeing a good bit of Chaney and Broome at the 4. Which creates a need for another 5 IMO....

Visit ended a little while ago. Hoke has some quotes. He said all the right things after. Part of me is skeptical if he was actually meaning what he was saying or just parroting the recruiting pitch. Said he was mostly focused on development and wasn’t too concerned with NIL since that money isn’t g...
His glaring weakness is 3-point shooting, which probably hurts his value a lot in the modern game
Not sure if he barely shot because he sucked (possible considering he’s 0-8 for his career) but he also looked good in some pre draft workouts shooting 3’s. Way different setting than a ...

Yep, I’d be shocked if Bruce used the 13th one unless it’s a walk on. Normally I’d agree with his philosophy that you’re not gonna get 13 quality players so might as well use it for a walk on, but AD is basically a walk on in my eyes. He’s a good scout team player and adds value to the team but don’...
Part of me wants to see Pegues run 32-34 mpg. I think he is a dude.
He’ll likely have to with the way it’s looking. Good news is I think he’s someone that will do well with that many minutes. Bad news is we are screwed if anything happens to him....

Hoke put a small update out on basketball. Main points are that coaches have been doing their homework on Dior. Talked extensively with Pitt and JUCO coaches. All have had good things to say about him. Also have all of the pertinent legal documents pertaining his case, including some that were not m...
No one knows anything definite yet. Hoke said from what he’s hearing it sounds unlikely he’s able to come but nothing certain....

The frustrating part is that it sounds like we had Achor until the transcripts got sent, which means we were basically down to one missing spot. Bruce could have easily sold getting more money (either from OTV or a donor) to get one more guy that could make the team championship level. Dior could...
To compound the issues it sounds Achor would be ours already but grades are an issue. Curious if it’s piss poor grades or the major again....
For real though, at some point we are going to have to actually break open the check book and get a guy
I mean it’s not like we are on the Dave Ramsey plan. Reality is we’ve likely spent most of what’s in the bank on what we currently have. Maybe we can reallocate funds from football...
Elite offensive player. Believe I saw where 4/5 charges were dropped and was given a misdemeanor. Likely a plea deal situation but like you said, he’s good enough that you look into it before passing....
