If she won't go in the bathroom or parking lot, I pass. I get it, all these years, but look at us now and who's doing whom. There's no after....
re: 2024’s Song of the Summer

I hope it's about a reprieve from less amenable seasons, and enjoying the cooler evenings with women of pleasant builds in warm weather attire....
re: If Harry Rex was still alive, I think he'd have enjoyed picking apart this 90's band graph

Green Day was all sad. No Doubt was nothing if not horny. This map would be more interesting aligned to unpretentious, dramatic, shirtless, and flannel.
But any way you put it, cake, hole, offspring while be there every time. ...

Pick a song with a simple verse and chorus, but with a bridge that changes things up a bit. Find the tablature on the web. Play along over and over for more than 20 minutes. Feel the rhythm. Get obsessed. Punish those around you with Kentucky Woman and Sweet Caroline....
Thank God we are in the mountains
In the mountains? Rogers is flat, like most of Benton Co. All the same, congrats on surviving. What happened Sunday morning truly sucks. NWA has been spoiled by the sense that it can't happen here. Even the Fayetteville Fizzle may no longer be ...

Rolando's has a nice garden and menu. The live music has never ruined it for me, and I'm easily annoyed....

re: Who have people told you is your celebrity look-a-like?

People said I looked like Dorothy Hamill. Then, I grew a few inches, and they asked me to stop spinning the camel....
re: Ice maker in refrigerator issue
Posted by Red Boarman on 5/23/24 at 11:09 pm
It sounds like the refrigerator is unlevel, causing the water and ice to lean too heavily toward the door. Place a level on top and, while lifting the front, adjust the feet under the appliance. But that will only work for a while. The weight of the appliance is buckling the floor beneath it, and...
re: Anyone have experience with koi?

Pardon if this has been mentioned already. To impede algae growth, find ways to limit sunlight on the water. A structure, a tree or shrub that won't add debris, or even better, grow lilies or other aquatic plants that cover the surface. They will also increase dissolved oxygen in the water....

re: AC Question: Temp increases when I set the thermostat lower
Posted by Red Boarman on 5/10/24 at 11:02 am
That happened to me when changing a friend's thermostat to a Nest. In the first few iterations, the Nest couldn't actuate the reversing valve in certain heat pumps. (Undersized mosfet switch.) So this unit heated no matter the heat/cool setting.
Sounds like a different issue here, but wanted ...
re: Best ways to keep squirrels out of vegetable garden?
Posted by Red Boarman on 5/8/24 at 11:57 am
We have shot or trapped 18 in the last 2 years. The little woman has gotten good with her air pistol. This is mainly to keep them from digging in the pots and flower beds. We also have some tomatoes, peppers and herbs on the upper deck. One thing that hasn't been mentioned that works for pots: ...

re: Anyone on here drink beer
Posted by Red Boarman on 4/29/24 at 9:24 am
Prairie had a pub near Cane's in Tulsa. We stopped in after a show. The beer is damn good but it's also pricey, as you say, and high abv. I don't remember walking to the room....

I heard my neighbor cranking on his dock. He was out there yesterday too. I thought, damn dude, it's only a couple inches. Give it a rest.
I was checking on how the recent power wash and reseal was working on my deck. The rain was beading up nicely. It's good seeing my deck get soaked....

re: Question for the Bass Players
Posted by Red Boarman on 4/23/24 at 10:35 pm
The road blocks include the same ones that kept you from being better at guitar. Hand strength and dexterity, tonal acumen, and rhythmic accuracy. If you've got that, the rest is just a shitload of practice. Get to it....
