Texas wins 4-2 but it was actually pretty tough. Johannes Monday, #1 for Tennessee really blew it. He had match points and a 5-2 lead in the 2nd set before he lost 5 straight games to lose the 2nd set and then also lose the 3rd set...

Virginia bounced back strong in singles to beat SC 4-1.
Texas wins easily 4-0.
Elsewhere, Wake finished off Stanford 4-1...

Yeah I think Texas should win fairly easily. They are the favorites to win the national title I think since Ohio State is not as string outdoors in the heat...

Yes it was, Thanks to regionality. Georgia Tech was the 2 seed and they were ranked #30 which is pretty soft for the #16 seed. They really should have been sent a 17-20 seed....

Yeah they are all down right now. UCLA was just ok (ranked 25 and lost in 2nd round to Texas). Georgia was 37 and lost 1st round to AZ State. USC was dreadful this year, didn’t make the tournament for the first time since 2006.
Stanford did make it but were not a top 16 seed. Disappointing year u...

Yeah it would have been close had they lost to Ole Miss but likely still would have been in. The ITA formula realy doesn’t punish losses that much compared to how much it rewards wins. Ole Miss will be the only SEC team not in the tournament.
Now LSU will likely be a 2 seed (17-32 ranking) in a ...

Definitely. Also confirms how tight the SEC was this year. To see #11 and #13 make runs to the semis.
Kentucky and Tennessee probably a cut above the rest but 3-13 this year had very little separating them. ...

oh yeah true. It's hard getting people to pay any attention to college tennis sadly. Matches are great to go to and I think more would like them if they knew about it. High level, high energy, six matches going all at once...
