Only two SEC campuses made the Architectural Digest Top 64 most beautiful campuses in the nation. OLE MISS was ranked #24, first among SEC campuses (including UTa and OU); MISSOURI was the other campus.

The Lyceum Building at Ole Miss was the first academic building established on campus, built in 1848 by architect William Nichols. It’s easily one of the most beautiful college campuses in the US, and likely the most picturesque in Mississippi.

At #29 is the University of MISSOURI campus.....

The heart of Mizzou is the Francis Quadrangle, home to the six columns that are the only remaining part of the original Academic Hall, which burned down in 1892.

Congrats to Ole Miss & Mizzou!

This sentence makes me cry for modern journalism.

Strong disagree with UPenn and Carnegie Mellon. Congested nightmares.

OM and Missouri are beautiful campuses- I would've picked at least 5 other SEC schools before I got to Vandy though (Bama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU off the top of my head)

LSU absolutely deserves to be on this list

Daym. My next thread was going to be about how ugly LSU aTM and TN are while calling TX a glorified homeless camp. Guess I’ll be thinking up another.

Also fun fact: the old administrative building was burned down by an electrical engineering blunder shortly after Thomas Edison founded their first EE program west of the Mississippi and arguably the first in the nation.

It’s not even in the top half of the former SEC West.

I’d try and argue for Arkansas, but the University went through a yellow brick square building stage that hasn’t been completely torn out yet.

Oxford is great except for game days. It is cheaped up on game days.

I am not surprised to see SMU on the list. It’s a pretty nice campus too.
