It was the first time Texas had to ration power. If we did it daily like California, we would have been well-practiced. My house had three planned outages of 45 minutes each and it went flawlessly. Others weren’t so lucky.

We don't ration on a daily basis -- only when extreme Santa Ana winds come through raising the temps here in Southern California and/or during certain times of the fire season (which is getting laboriously long these days
).
