Will Men’s CBB ever move to quarters?

I like the reset of team fouls and also adds 2 more clock expiration plays in a game.
Whats the hold up?

WBB has evolved over the ages. My mom was an All American guard back in the late 30's when the game was 6 on 6, the defensive guards not crossing half court. Then it went to 5 on 5, full court. Finally, to where it is now, 4 quarters. MBB has stayed the same, basically. One difference in the game was set shots evolving into jump shots.

Zero reason not to move to quarters. Game flows better that way.

They would have to expand the overall half's time but I hope they do it one day. 4 Qs is just much better.

Men’s college basketball the only form of basketball to not have quarters now. Stupid really

I remember 6 girl roundball. Must pass to cross mid court. Dedicated defenders made for low scoring.

Another plus is the interview of the coaches in between quarters

One more plus…the one TV timeout under 5 of each quarter instead of under 16, 12, 8, 4
