JLee posted that Akron transfer OL Ronan Chambers visited today, he's currently committed to Tulane. Auburn is likely looking at him as a rotational lineman, which is what he was at Akron.
Fine if so, fine if not. Depth piece

Agreed, still not in elite company but I'm now more focused on depth at defensive line than depth at the offensive line. We've greatly improved both within a few months though.

LB Khalil Jacobs from South Alabama was supposed to visit Bama and Mizzou after his Auburn visit but he canceled/postponed those it seems. Would seem Auburn is in a good spot.

There's a CB we're after that canceled a visit to Boston College too. Last name is Core I think.

If it’s Jayvion Cole, he just committed to Texas

I think that's who it was. Wasn't sure where we we're with him.

So input on where we stand with OL appreciated:
We have on board (for now) Dice, Dowland, Carde Smith, Tai Buster
Looking pretty good: Shull, and Jacobe Ford
Trying: Babaloa, Josh Petty, Malachi Goodman
Any others? I left off Micah Dubose we seem to have cooled on him, or have we?
In any case, we have not seen OL recruiting like this in years, yeeaarrs. Nice job.

I think you summed it up.
Wiltfong placed a prediction for Jacobe Ward to Auburn today.
Pinkston said recently he thought Auburn would take DeBose if he wanted in (obvious statement), but seemed to think Auburn liked guys like Buster and Ward about as much. Wiltfong also said Auburn was in Babalola's top group, which was news to me.
A current OL class projection:
4* OT Broderick Shull
4* OT Tavaris Dice
4* OT Carde Smith
3* OL Tai Buster
3* OL Jacobe Ward
3* OT Spencer Dowland
If we somehow could add someone like Goodman, Petty, Babalola, DeBose, etc., to that would be really huge.

DeBose is definitely down the staffs board and as I predicted he will continue to fall in the rankings. His body matured early and now everyone is passing him by. He was a 5 star just 6 or so months ago. He may hang in the top 300.

I bet we do hit on one of those remaining, heck Im sure the coaches would find a place for more than one.
I saw an interview with Jacobe Ward's coach (I dont know why I insist on calling him Ford) he said the kid has the height to play right tackle at the next level, thats where he plays now. Course he said a lot want him inside, which is probably where he will end up for us, but its nice to have all these tackles for a change.
Coach also mentioned Scroggins "the third" we are recruiting at edge. He is now 230 during basketball season with a year to grow as well. Watching his tape I can see why Alan Head sings his praises, he is an absolute beast coming off the edge.

Cole has said the staff is extremely high in Buster and Ward. Dice and Shull are obviously really good as well. I wouldn’t be super surprised if Dowland finds another school. Never seen OL recruiting this good.

Chambers committed. Nice depth piece.

Thanks Corch, makes sense on Micah then.
13, Ive wondered the same about Dowland. Dont hear anything on any sites about him like you do the others. Like you mentioned with Pink.
This recruiting is amazing. Very concerning our DL for the fall and boom the portal fixes it. Concerned about the OL high school recruiting and boom its, in the process of getting fixed for years to come!
Its fun again for the first time in years.

How old are you? OL recruiting was quite well and common at Auburn before bitch tits and potato head didn’t even try.
