Truth. Fair is a good player. What is better to see is that we have guys that have passed him and that is why he is transferring. I wish him the best, but definitely nice knowing the caliber that position has upgraded this offseason.

Hopefully Riley can teach him how to catch.

He had a drop or two, but from what I remember he was one of the only DECENT WR on the roster last year. Wish him the best, but we upgraded in my opinion

Pink mentioned Jacobe Ward again in the show yesterday. Said he will be a guard for us but he is very high on our board and we are far and away his favorite.

He thinks he will be a multi year starter, he is that good.

He continued to have drop problems in the spring, which is a reason why he fell down the depth chart.

Yeah, when I watch Hard Knocks, they don't pull junk like that. They call them in to the GM/Coach's office and just tell them "Hey man, we are gonna have to cut you loose. We wish you well and let us know if we can do anything for you." It's straight to the point and professional.

That's in some of the more professional situations with Cameras rolling. Dudes are cut more heartlessly when they aren't being followed by HBO cameras though. Also it's VERY common to get traded and hear about it form media or a friend on TV before a coach or someone from the organization. As a kid I liked the cool coaches and teachers because they let me get away with everything. As an Adult I grew to appreciate the hard arse tough teachers who gave me hell and held me accountable. Looking back on it, they loved me more than the people who just looked the other way and gave me a false sense of security.

Pinkston talked with someone who believes Auburn is the “clear frontrunner” for JuJu. Pinkston is still skeptical because he hasn’t really talked to the kid. Also was told if he flips, other kids will follow JuJu.

It looks like most of our clear competitors have dropped out. Still don't wanna get too excited though.

Obviously you want JuJu has to cause pause when wondering why others passed.

Have to keep in mind that Juju Lewis is committed somewhere. Ideally, you already want your QB figured out for 2025 at this point.

Georgia had to decide if they wanted to keep recruiting a kid committed elsewhere through June when they had a guy like Ryan Montgomery willing to commit. On top of that, they pulled in Rashada. I think if you're UGA you take that any day

He's visited Bama 10 times I think. I expect them to get an OV. He was also at USC a couple of weeks ago and said glowing things about Lincoln Riley. He will OV there too

The Auburn live guys mentioned the dad and alot of the "other stuff" he comes with, but I don't know exactly what that means. If he doesn't have any issues with behavior sign him up and just deal with the father.

Dad probably wants to be very involved. I could see that easily turning into JuJu entering the portal after a year if he doesn't have a Heisman campaign as a freshman... and maybe even if he does.

I think Juju is a bit young with the re-class up a grade. I don't mind parents being very involved, especially now that there's such an open financial component.

I agree, go get the guy. We've had previous qbs in the past where Dad wanted to be involved.

We've had QBs who would have benefited from a dad being more involved

Personally, I'm hoping for more kids with parents that care. A whole team would be nice... it fits the culture we're after.
