That stings but there are a ton of undersized guys who can give quality minutes off the bench but we absolutely have to have another true pg. I don't think a PF is a must have but it would of course be nice to have a true 4 coming off the bench.

I have no doubt we will add 2. But highly doubtful they will be near the caliber of Godfrey/Miles, who I thought we would have by the end of this week.

We will get some players but I’d love to see a small back court big front court combo. Maybe one rotation a game.

2-Petiford
3-Jones
4-Broome
5-Cardwell
Play Broome at the high post Dylan at the low. Either the opposing coach will
Have to counter with 2 bigs and open up our shooters or play a forward on Broome and risk Broome putting him on skates for someone to drive, him finish at the rim, or if the other big comes to defend drop off to Dylan. If a defender comes in from the outside double pass wide open 3
Plenty of ways to only having 1 quality 4. Plus CMO can give you minutes at the 4 as a rebounder

Yep, has really sent everyone back to the drawing board. The portal era is really weird, I know both of them were in deeeeep talks with OTV.

Have you heard anything about the Duke Miles recruitment not being completely over? I haven't heard from anyone that i completely trust but I've read rumors that he's rethinking his commitment. OU is still recruiting PG's so the rumor is he is still listening to the staff because he was sold on the path to be PG1 at OU

Yes there was a thread on 247 about it, but no link. Said the same thing you just said, Seems like OU was trying to keep it a secret about going after more guards, but it got out. Time will tell if this rumor is true.

I saw it there and on Twitter but it's possible one was piggy backing the other. OU is definitely still in the market though so it makes me wonder

I think OU needed two guards anyway. My guess is he wants to know who the other guard is before he signs.

Lock him down Bruce. Achor and a PG to give us a solid 10 mpg and this off season was a smashing success.

No doubt. He’s the automatic starter at the 4 and is versatile enough to play the 5, which would be needed if we actually ran a twin towers lineup.

He’s one of those guys that casual fans wonder why they stick around the league for so long. He’s a guy I could see a stronger team going after to be a role player.

Was thinking the same about his versatility. He + Chaney would be a freaky combo at the 4.

I was really impressed with Achor in the few Samford games I watched this year. He would be an amazing get.
