Strength of schedule seems to be low on the list of criteria. Seems like teams would want to go independent like ND and put together a cream puff schedule and just play 2 tough games a year. Either that or join the Big 12 or PAC10 and win the title there and get an automatic bye.

The rankings are bullshite but I don’t know that there’s any reason to bitch about them with the games remaining. The final ranking is what we need to be worried about.

It would definitely be a shocker if our team runs the table but even if we don't I hope that one of the SEC teams wins the NC so we can restore order.
All it took was one Big10 team, Michigan, to win it last season and now miraculously all of the Big10 teams are considered contenders even with soft schedules.
And don't get me wrong, I think Oregon and Ohio St. have good teams but neither have fared well vs comparable SEC teams over time.
