Sorry if this has been talked about at length recent...I just started following yall's recruiting thread 
How do yall feel about OG Braden Smith? He was in Auburn this past weekend. He seemed like he had a good visit but apparently he is really hard to read. Any insight? TIA

I don't follow recruiting as closely as most do on this board, but from what I've heard from other posters on here, it sounds like we aren't being seriously considered anymore.

He's visiting A&M this weekend.
No one really knows where Smith stands because he doesn't do interviews and from what I gather, he's a bit hard to read. His sister attends TCU and he will take an OV there next weekend.

Mike Farrell from Rivals had this to say about Smith

If I had to pick one player in the Rivals100 who could surprise a ton of people and turn into a star beyond his current ranking, it would be Braden Smith. He plays in a run-only offense in high school and is learning how to pass protect, but this kid is built like a truck, is strong as an ox and if he gets the right coaching we could be looking at an Outland Trophy kind of guy. If he played better competition and had more film in pass pro, who knows how high we would have ranked him. He's physical and nasty and could be a huge defensive end if needed as well. I just have a feeling about him.

too far from Houston is my guess. He really needed to get away tbh. He may enroll at Blinn but I'll be surprised if he ever finishes there. Dude's in desperate need of guidance.
